The Neighbourgood Summer Season Pass is a package for staying, working, and experiencing Cape Town during its summer season. Packages are valid for the period of 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026 and are available for stays of 7 days or more.

• 7-14 Day Pass: Great for a city break or remote teams on the move.

• 1-Month Pass: Fully immerse in city life, wellness, and community.

• 3-Month Pass: Your ultimate seasonal upgrade, local living redefined.

The pass includes a range of benefits:

• Accommodation, Utilities, and Wi-Fi: Your stay includes a room at a Neighbourgood property as per the selected package, utilities, weekly cleaning, and Wi-Fi.

• Welcome Pack and Merchandise: You will receive a welcome pack and a branded Neighbourgood cap.

• Co-Working Access: You get unlimited access to Neighbourgood co-working spaces.

• Community and Events: The pass includes access to a program of regular community events.

• Food and Drink: You'll receive a daily coffee & croissant subscription redeemable at Nice Cafe in East City. You will also have access to the weekly braai (BBQ) at Neighbourgood Hill and the weekly breakfast club at Nice Cafe in East City.

The following are explicitly not included in the pass and are at the guest's own expense:

• Flights and all forms of transport.

• Paid events.

• Daily breakfast (beyond the weekly breakfast club) and daily meals.

• Daily cleaning.

• Booking of meeting rooms in co-working spaces.

• Alcoholic drinks are not included and are at an additional cost.

The Summer Season Pass is non-transferable and can only be used by the person to whom it was originally issued. If an included service or amenity is not used, it is not transferable for money, credit, or any other form of compensation.

There are three packages, each with different locations and prices. Note that varying room types will affect the rate quoted.

• Summer Starter (1 Month): Starting from R28,498.00 / USD $1,626.58 / €1,389.98. This package is available at Neighbourgood East City, Neighbourgood Castle (both Inner City), and Neighbourgood Newlands (Newlands).

• Summer Social (1 Month): Starting from R29,042.50 / USD $1,657.67 / €1,416.53. This package includes locations in Green Point: Neighbourgood Hill, Neighbourgood Romney, and Neighbourgood Ravenscraig.

• Summer Premium (1 Month): Starting from R45,159.70 / USD $2,577.65 / €2,202.51. This package is at Neighbourgood 84 Harrington in the Inner City and allows you to move between any of the Neighbourgood locations, subject to availability, for a minimum of 7 days at a time.

Yes, double occupancy is an additional R300 per day (USD $17 / €14.60).

The properties are located in various areas of Cape Town; 

• Inner City: Neighbourgood Castle, Neighbourgood East City, and Neighbourgood 84 Harrington.

• Atlantic Seaboard (Green Point): Neighbourgood Romney, Neighbourgood Hill, and Ravenscraig.

• Southern Suburbs: Neighbourgood Newlands.

The weekly social braai, held at Neighbourgood Hill (2 Hill Road), includes: 2 Chops, Boerewors, 120g Rump, Potato Salad, Pap, Green Salad and Bread Selection (Braai Broodjies). A Bali bar setup with drinks and cocktails is available at an additional cost.

The weekly breakfast club is held at Nice Cafe in Neighbourgood East City and includes your choice of four breakfast options, plus coffee or juice.

Option 2: Omelette (3 Fillings) and Coffee or Fresh Juice

Option 3: Eggs Benedict and Coffee or Fresh Juice

Option 4: 2 Eggs, 2 Bacon, Tomato & 2 Toast and Coffee or Fresh Juice

The coffee subscription includes a daily coffee and croissant from Nice Cafe at Neighbourgood East City.

Yes, vegan and vegetarian options will be accommodated at the weekly food events with prior notice.

Other events include half-price burgers and pizzas at Nice cafe at East City, a daily happy hour at the Hill poolside bar, and a public coffee cupping and education class on Fridays.

Transport is not included in the pass, so you will need to arrange your own. You can get around Cape Town using services like Uber or the MyCiTi public bus transport system.

The pass grants you access to Neighbourgood's community-centered spaces, events, and experiences. Neighbourgood focuses on creating a sense of community where good people can belong and thrive. The community-centered spaces and experiences are designed to encourage social interaction while providing members with independence in their private spaces. The goal is to provide a convenient, flexible living space that fosters connection and a sense of belonging for remote workers and solo travelers.
